History

Due to Covid-19 unfotunately the 2020 event had to be cancelled and as we are still battling the pandemic heading into 2021 the BCAC will be looking a little different this year.

Although we cant run our event as it has historically been run, it does allow us to create NEW Championship titles under the BCAC name that you can claim!

In the past

For the last 21 years the BCAC has been a major part of the UK Competition Calendar and in that time the event has helped make the angling careers of many well known names whilst at the same time providing an excellent launch pad for those who have now become household names (well at least in the world of Carp Fishing)!

We are very proud of our event and equally pleased that over the past 21 years we have such a great deal of history and stories behind us.

2019 Event

2019, like every year of the BCAC, threw up a lot of surprises but every step of the way competitors were making the most of it.

Through the 7 months of the competitions we have taken a lot of water shots, tried to keep warm, tried to keep dry, taken scenic pictures, contemplated, caught a lot of fish, broken records, crowned winners, smiled, laughed, shivered, cheered, blanked, nearly cried and chewed nails but most importantly we have celebrated this fantastic competition in all its glory!

They say a picture paints a thousand words, so here are some of our favourite pictures from 2019.
